OnePlus 2 gets OxygenOS 2.1.2 update with improved UX for preview in camera and more

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 2.1.2 update for OnePlus 2. The company said that the over the air (OTA) update will be rolled out incrementally for the devices.

The OxygenOS 2.1.2 update includes –

  • Improved UX for preview in Camera
  • Performance improvements on app install and launch
  • Individual icon customization support
  • Fixes for RAW format on 3rd party camera apps
  • Russian & Turkish language support
  • Lockscreen wallpaper support
  • Security patches
  • Bug fixes to System Update to improve OTA stability
  • General bug fixes and performance improvements
OnePlus did not give a specific timeline for the update. The OnePlus 2 had received RAW support in 3rd party camera apps in the 2.1.0 update. Now, OnePlus says that FV-5 will be releasing an update to their app to support RAW on OnePlus 2 devices as soon as this update will be rolled out. The new version will carry the version number 2.79.5 and the update will be released within a few days of upgrading to 2.1.2.
