NEW DELHI: Handset major Nokia has launched a new high-end device in the segment -- E72 -- priced at Rs 22,989.

The new high-end ESeries device from Nokia is considered the successor to one of its most successful Eseries phone-E71.

"Our study shows, most of the consumers surveyed choose email over voice or text to send and receive important information. With the latest Nokia E72, consumers will be able to accommodate multiple work and personal email accounts. We expect to see the same kind of success we had with E71," Nokia India Marketing Director Vineet Taneja said.

Though E72 is visually similar to the E71, there have been a lot of changes under the hood. The keypad has been rearranged, the phone also has a new noise cancellation feature which helps to have clear conversations.

The E71, boast of a five mega pixel camera and can record videos which can make it a pretty formidable multimedia phone.

Analyst tracking the sector feels, the market for Enterprise phones is likely to grow considerably with more and more people accessing their emails from phones. There are 4.2 million mobile email users in India, growing over 90 per cent.

However, E72 is likely to see some serious competition not only from the market but from its own predecessors.[/img]
