New Android Smartphone from Motorola Announced(Defy+)

We have recently heard news about Samsung’s launch of its rugged Android smartphone, the Samsung Xcover. Subsequently, Motorola freshly announced a rugged Android smartphone dubbed as Motorola Defy+.


In fact the new handset is the successor to the rugged Motorola Defy. The new smartphone has the same design as its predecessor and it comes with a 1GHz single core processor and runs Android Gingerbread 2.3.4.

Other specifications for the handset include: 3.7-inch touch screen display with 854×480 pixel resolution; 2GB internal storage; microSD card slot; and, a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. The storage capacity is further expandable up to 32 GB.

In addition, the smartphone supports Adobe Flash Player 10 and also includes MotoBlur service. It further boasts a scratch-proof glass and battery is supposed to give a talk time of about 7 hours. The pricing details for the Motorola Defy+ are not yet available.
