Motorola Moto G IMEI issue in India resolved



Earlier this week, Motorola informed that a batch of Moto G phones have been shipped but the IMEI numbers of the devices are not registered with the network operators. This issue prevented users from connecting to a network. But now, Motorola has posted a statement on its Facebook page informing that the issue is now solved.

The company said that the IMEI numbers are now registered and users can now have access to network connection and can now use their phone normally.

Here is what the company posted on its Facebook page:

MotoG update: We wanted to let you know that we now have #MotoG devices with IMEI nos starting with 3533 registered with ALL network operators. All impacted customers can now activate your phones immediately. Once again apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and faith in Motorola!
