Ever since Google officially announced and launched the latest version of Android operating system called – Ice-cream Sandwich, Handset manufacturers have been announcing their respective roll-out and upgrade plans. Google Nexus S will be the first device to get Android ice-cream sandwich and the version will be a pure one without any customization.

How about galaxy Ace?

Samsung haven't listed Ace so i think Ace will get an ICS Update in late 2012

Ace is a good Phone and I think ICS on this phone will increase their Market

If you can;t wait then there is a Custom ICS ROM for Galaxy Ace and have a try

Lets wait till my phone is in warrenty... I cannot touch the ROM untill it expires

Good thought let the warranty expire then there will be an official update

what about HTC Wildfire S ??

No news about ICS update on Wildfire S
Hope the ICS update will be available late 2012 for many Android Phones

Companies like htc , samsung and motorloa Releases their Android updates very late.

One reason behind this that i can make out is that they do some testing of OS on the particular hardware and with their Home screen customization like Samsung on Touchwiz and htc on HTC Sense.

I have heard lot of people customizing their ROM before the Original update available from the vendor. They most of the times face issues with some features are not working or else.
