LG Axis Mid-Range Android QWERTY Phone





LG and Alltel have announced a new smartphone, The LG Axis.
The LG Axis is equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB), 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a 1500 mAh battery that enabling up to two weeks in standby mode, up to 7.5 hours in talk time.

LG Axis mid-range Android smartphone is running on Android 2.1 OS and works in CDMA EV-DO network.
The new smartphone is a side slider form factor and seems a rebadged version of the LG Ally that sold by Verizon Wireless / LG Apex.
LG Axis is now available from the carrier with a price tag of $89.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and a two year service contract.
