It looks like LeEco is working on a new smartphone which is a successor of recently launched Le2. Couple of images of LeEco Le2S have surfaced on Weibo.

As per the images, the phone looks similar to the Le 2 with slimmer bezels on the side. At the front you can see the usual positioning of the front camera, earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors. There are no images of the bottom and back of the phone. However, the fingerprint sensor could be at the back of the phone.

Along with the images, the report says that the phone will come with a massive 8GB RAM. The recently launched OnePlus 3 and LeEco Le 2 Max sports a 6GB RAM. The Le 2S is also expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor which is the latest one from Qualcomm. The handset may also feature 64GB of internal storage and a 5.5-inch display with Quad HD display considering it is a high end device.

Finally, LeEco will most probably not join the bandwagon of other smartphone makers of adding dual camera to their devices. The Le 2S could feature a single rear camera.
