HP Veer – Small is the New Big

Looks like the tiny phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard from HP, the WebOS-running HP Veer, might be available for purchase soon.

It could very well launch sometime early in May, as HP has already sent out invites to an event that they’re hosting on May 2nd, with the guest of honor being the uber small webOS smartphone.

The folks at PreCentral have discovered an invitation page to a launch party in L.A. for the HP Veer.

Invitees were asked to bring an ID badge or “an AT&T/Best Buy Business card,” which could point towards the HP Veer arriving on AT&T in the near future.

This makes sense too if history was to be taken into consideration, since both the Palm Pre Plus and Paalm Pixi Plus were part of AT&T’s stable in the past, so it isn’t too surprising to see more webOS-powered devices arriving in the near future.
