Chinese smartphone manufacturer FAEA is all set to release their wonder product FAEA F1 Penguin in India anytime soon at around Rs 11,500. I have intentionally termed it ‘wonder’ product as it’s the cheapest smartphone to have on-board NFC. Yes, the price it will be sold in India in $60 higher than the actual price ($130 in China). It will use Qualcomm MSM8225Q Snapdragon S4 Play chip with quad core core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A5 processor and Aderno 203 GPU.

The only thing you should watch out is the NFC. The 4.5 inch display with 720p resolution, 8 MP snapper are nothing new to us so as 4 GB ROM, micro SD card slot, 1 GB RAM, 2000 mAh battery. Currently in Indian market several Karbonn Titanium series smartphones available using the same Qualcomm chip. But none has the on-board NFC radio.

FAEA F1
Overall specs of FAEA F1 is decent; but it looks like way too costly here in India. Less than Rs 10,000 should have been ideal for the device. Other worried thing is AndroidGuruz will be selling the device. You know what has happened in past few months!
