2G or WiFi for battery ?

Between 2G and WiFi ( no 3G option ) what consume less battery ?

As my point of view

wifi naal apan jada battery save kar laine haan (j apan kise work lai on karke use karke off karna hove ..!
te jehdi apna work hunda ooho jaldi complete ho janda

te j standby/chating te use karna tan 2g jada battery save karda
kyon k j apan wifi connect kar laine han tan wifi fare v hor scan karda rehda kk oosnu connected signal tan better signal wali koi range milje

so choice thodai hai k tusi kis purpose lai use karna ...!

Wifi drains battery more quickly then 2G

its usual bro Wifi je sirf on howe connected na vi howe fer vi battery drain karda

note 2 ya koi heavy battery set hoye ga. chote set te pata lagda hai. free apps naal vi farak penda.

Lower Android phones te zyada farak penda Wifi on karn naal ohna di battery drain zyada hundi te apps da vi farak penda hai

Kayi aap hundiya ne jo network te dipand rendiya ne jo appe net di conctivite labhdi rehndiya ne is karke betry drin hundi hai te main din de 10 ghnte wifi use karda mere phn di betry theek chaldi a ..and 2g ya 3g use karan te batry di life te fark penda chahe oh Android lowest version howe ya upper...

IMO because 2g is much slower than wifi, applications run much longer to retrieve/sync emails, messages,backups etc.hence consuming more battery.

check screenshot for my phone running exclusively with wifi on.

not sure about 2g
but battery drainage is definitely more on 3g and 4g , wifi uses less battery
if your battery drainage is way more than normal on 2g, like 1 % per minute or two then your phone needs a hard reset

hahaha 22 mera phone tan hard reset ton baad jake 1% massa 2 minute tak rukda

try greenify app if rooted
there is one particular app that is eating your battery ...you have to find that one out ......if on BBM uncheck show notification in android bbm settings not just in bbm settings

Last time jad install kita c tad check kita k ooho app open karan nu bohat time laga dinda

So hun tan main stock rom flash kiti hoi aa so not rooted ..

With clean master app...

a good wifi connection is better then 2G or 3G or 4G.
if your service provider allows you to make/receive calls over wifi, i.e. do not use mobile networks when wifi is on.........then using wifi is at its best.

quick note: some apps keep sleeping but become active as soon as wifi is on, take care of them.....wifi will drain less battery then mobile network.
