As she turns 41, she is back on the scene and better than ever, staging scene-stealing look after look - from attending Femina Beauty Awards in The Circus suit-skirt to filming for Dilwale in Alice + Olivia skirt. Designer tags apart, her inner glow has been on full display during all the appearances she made this year.

Her personal trainer Sherveer Vakil attributes it to her disciplined lifestyle, which includes weight training six times a week and cardiovascular exercises four-five times a week, high-protein diet, and sleeping well. Last year in November when she fractured her foot, she continued to to weight train her body. “She has a mindset of an athlete, and has built an amazing strength base in the last nine years,” says Vakil of Kajol who trained for an hour and half even today.

Her diet comprises six meals in a day that includes chicken, seafood, fat-free cold cuts, vegetables, fruits and multi-vitamins. “No junk food except once on the weekend,” adds Vakil.

The actor brought in her birthday at a dinner party with family at her Mumbai home. Daughter Nysa even baked a birthday cake and son made a greeting card.
